An absolutely gorgeous diamond star pendant from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in 14kt rosy yellow gold and depicts the shape of a sparkling 5-point star. Substantial in size, the pendant adorns ten old Mine Cut diamonds which beam from a single larger stone at the center. The diamonds are set in an ornate buttercup-style setting, dramatically resting in a raised fashion, and collectively have an overall approximate weight of 0.80ctw, exhibiting color in the G-H range and clarity in the VS range. A hidden double bail can be found on the open back, perfect for hanging from a complementary chain. The diamonds sparkle beautifully and the pendant looks striking on. It is an exquisite piece and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
