A fabulous amethyst ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14k white gold, this striking piece features a navette-style amethyst centerpiece. The marquis cut amethyst stone is wonderfully faceted, and catches the light beautifully with every turn. The dark purple stone is held within a four-prong setting. The gallery of the ring feature a lovely paisley-motif cutout design, and the shoulders of the ring feature a floral-motif and additional milgrain detailing. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped with a "14K" purity mark. A colorful and unique ring, this piece would make a great addition to any Art Deco-era jewelry collection!
Measurements:The ring is a size 4.25, but could be easily resized. The amethyst centerpiece measures 3/4" tall and 1/2" wide.
Condition:The overall condition of the ring is great. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the white gold mounting, and the amethyst stone is secure and in working order
